What The Provider Says:

We pioneered the concept of intensive instruction—four hours a day. The right learning environment is just as important as the right diagnosis and instruction. Many students need the learning environment of "intensive care" in order to rapidly close the gap between their potential and their performance.

Research demonstrates that the appropriate intensive instruction produces significant changes in learning rate. Our Students often make two to four years reading gain in six to eight weeks.

With the tremendous success of our instructional programs, what started as one small Lindamood-Bell® Learning Center years ago has now grown to 38 centers nationwide and one in London, England. All are owned and operated by our founders, who provide on-going quality control.

Lindamood-Bell's instruction is based on an individual's learning needs and embodies an interactive, balanced approach. Through Socratic questioning, clinicians teach students to integrate sensory information to help them become self-correcting and independent in all learning tasks.

• Regular instruction: one hour a day. Average instruction time is four to six months.
• Intensive instruction: four hours a day. Average instruction time is six to eight weeks.
• Groups may be available, but are limited to no more than five clients.
• Years of gain are common in only weeks of instruction.

*All instruction is based on an individual's needs. Initial recommendations and subsequent updates may indicate a longer instructional time than the above averages. Status of every student's progress is updated constantly during session via meetings with our clinical staff.

Our School Services partnerships are the only way to guarantee Lindamood-Bell® quality control.

A School Services project is a great opportunity to extend the Lindamood-Bell® sensory-cognitive programs to thousands of students in public and private schools. A School Services project can consist of workshops for school teachers in the programs, on-site consulting and professional support, small group intensive intervention, and school-wide implementation of all Lindamood-Bell® programs.
