What The Provider Says:
The American Education Corporation (AEC) has been producing quality educational products for over 22 years and is prepared to continue through the 21st century as one of the fastest growing companies in the educational technology industry. This growth and recognition is based upon three foundational elements: our management and philosophy toward our customers, product quality, and after-sales support. We are vitally interested in the student and educator experience with our product line. Our mission continues to be to create functional, well-rounded educational solutions for schools.
Meeting federal, national, state, district, or even local mandates while addressing the individual needs of students is a challenge to educators everywhere. Educators need a software program that not only provides assessment tools but also can provide core curriculum content to match all skill levels of all students. The A+nyWhere Learning System® (A+LS™), software program is an e-learning solution ideal for schools searching for more efficient ways to improve their instructional processes. The A+LS program consists of an instructional management system supported by significant core curriculum content for grades 1-12 delivered through a local area network or the Internet. The research-based curriculum content is in the subject areas of Reading, Mathematics, Language Arts, Science, Writing, and Social Sciences. With extensive management and reporting tools, educators and administrators control the learning process.
The A+nyWhere Learning System® instructional courseware program combines the proven grade level 1-12 AEC curriculum content with the latest Internet technologies. The result is a learning system that can be delivered to any student any time via a LAN, WAN, or the Internet. The assessment tools for the A+nyWhere Learning System are integral to the management system. Educators can create tests for placement within the curriculum based on any national, state, or local learning objective. Once the test is taken, an assignment list is instantly created and prescribed, specifically designed to meet the student's needs. Educators can choose from either Windows® or Macintosh® platform.
The original AEC instructional courseware product, the A+dvanced Learning System® program, was introduced in 1994. This modular, core curriculum system for grades 1-12 gives educators and administrators the flexibility to create individual lesson plans, assess student skill deficiencies, and edit curriculum content. The A+dvanced Learning System program continues to meet the needs of schools and institutions across the country as there are currently more than 8,500 installations of this award-winning program nationwide. Educators can choose from either Windows® or Macintosh® platforms and the program contains over 6,000 lessons and 100,000 exercises, which add up to more than 6,700 hours of technology-based instruction.
