Cambium Learning is a new education company that provides research-based, culturally responsive and proven instructional materials, services and technology to help educators raise the achievement level of those pre K through grade 12 students underserved by existing instructional materials. The company was founded on the belief that all students, including minority, at-risk, economically disadvantaged and special student populations can achieve at a high level.

Education continues to be a growing national priority. There is an increasing focus on accountability, assessment and the requirements to bring all students to or above proficiency levels. Although the past 20 years have brought exponential growth in educational spending, national student test scores have shown little improvement. With an increasingly diverse student population, the lack of diversity in instructional materials contributes to many students failing to meet these achievement levels. Clearly, the standardized one-size-fits-all curriculum does not work for all students.

The founders of Cambium Learning believe there is a need and an opportunity to make a difference in the education of these students and is committed to supporting educators by providing flexible, research-based and proven strategies and resources needed to help students succeed.
